Hi my name is Sharon Barr and I am the owner and designer of Willberry Lane. Here is a little bit about myself and about the creation of Willberry Lane.
Willberry Lane was created at the end of 2006. After working for about a year doing country primitive designs for Country Lane Designs I decided that I would branch out andlaunch my own set of designs aimed at children and the home. I had wonderful encouragement from my family and well after alot of hard work here it all is!! A range of designs created to adorn your children's bedrooms and play areas and designs to add a touch of nostalgia and elegance to your home.
The name Willberry Lane was decided upon as my youngest son's name is Will and his nickname is "Willberry". My mum, Pat came up with the name "Willberry Lane" and I just loved it and so it stuck.
I have four beautiful children, Katie (7), Jack (5), Meg (3) and Will (1.5) and after being involved in drawing designs and patterns I realised that there was very little choice in designs and patterns for little ones but in particular there were not very many boys patterns available. So I have decided to set about designing some great things for mums to decorate their children's rooms with. Lots of pink fabric, lace and pretty shabby buttons for the little girls and boats, cars and rockets for the boys. Some of the products I have designed are also aimed at decorating the home such as table runners, placemats, kits for appliqued tea towels, cake and scone covers and many more that will be on the website very soon.
